The media ruckus over bullying has mobilized schools and governments, with bullying laws recently passed in 48 states. But schools are taking the wrong approach. That’s according to developmental psychologist Dr. Mitch Prinstein, who says “zero-tolerance” policies don’t work well. As he tells us in this short chat, research paints a complex picture of bullying that calls for multifaceted solutions.
